About the role

You will oversee our Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team, owning the reliability, availability, and performance of our production systems. As the SRE Manager, you will be responsible for operating and improving our Kubernetes-based platform in production, ensuring it scales reliably under load, while driving incident management, observability, and operational excellence across the organization.

On a typical day, you will

• Lead and develop a high-performing SRE team with strong ownership of production.
• Own system reliability, availability, and performance (SLOs/SLIs).
• Lead incident response (SEV1/SEV2), ensuring fast mitigation and strong postmortems.
• Drive observability excellence (monitoring, alerting, tracing) with high signal-to-noise.
• Ensure scalability and resilience of Kubernetes-based infrastructure and critical systems.
• Reduce operational toil through automation and self-healing systems.
• Partner with Engineering to improve system design and production readiness.
• Own capacity planning, ensuring systems scale ahead of demand.
• Enforce security and reliability best practices in production environments.

What you’ll need to bring

• Advanced or fluent English language proficiency.
• Proven experience leading or operating within SRE teams in high-scale, production environments.
• Strong ownership of production systems, with hands-on experience managing reliability, availability, and performance (SLO/SLI driven).
• Demonstrated experience leading incident response (SEV1/SEV2), including postmortems and root cause analysis.
• Deep understanding of observability practices (monitoring, alerting, logging, tracing) with a focus on signal quality.
• Solid experience operating Kubernetes in production (not just provisioning), including troubleshooting and scaling under load.
• Strong experience in performance tuning, capacity planning, and system scalability.
• Proven track record of reducing operational toil through automation and improving system resilience.
• Experience working closely with Engineering to improve production readiness and system design.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to operate effectively under pressure.
