Area Activities

The RED Lab Curriculum is responsible for the design, development, deployment, and quality assurance (monitoring) of RED HOUSE’s curriculum. Some of the area activities are listed below:

• Curriculum Design, Development, Deployment, and Quality Assurance.
• Quality assurance comprises: (i) curriculum consistency, rigor, and alignment across programs and segments; (ii) guarantee for high-quality curricular content, lesson outlines, assessments, and instructional practices.
• Provide expert services in the Subject Area of Expertise across Middle Years (Y6–Y9) and EMB/DP High School (Y10–Y12).
• Expert Services comprise: (i) Supervision and support MYP and High School (DP + EMB) teachers through planning revision, class observations, and structured feedback; (ii) the continuous research and development of RED HOUSE’s Knowledge Space (KS) and Learning Space (LS) for MYP–Y12.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Curriculum and Platform Support

• Assist in inserting and updating data in existing and future RED HOUSE platforms.
• Complete and maintain the DP Math Weekly Planner on the institutional platform.
• Become familiar with the RED HOUSE curriculum and its guiding principles.

Teaching Guide Review and Development

• Support the curation of supplementary instructional materials for the Teaching Guides.
• Solve and review instructional activities included in the Teaching Guides to verify mathematical coherence, logical consistency, and correctness of results.

Documentation and Organization

• Deal with different documents used by RED Lab in different file formats (word, excel, PDF, Powerpoint, etc.).
• Create and structure PowerPoint presentations.
• Collaborate in organizing digital files related to the RED Kangaroo Project.

Research and AI Support

• Collaborate in the use of AI tools (including ChatGPT) for information gathering and structured content organization.
• Assist in collecting and organizing academic information relevant to curriculum development.

Meetings and Collaboration

• Participate in weekly alignment meetings.
• Attend additional meetings when requested.

Compliance

• Follow RED HOUSE’s institutional policies and guidelines, including RED HOUSE Policies, Teachers’ Handbook, and Codes of Conduct.

Position in the Organizational Structure

• Reports directly to: Head of RED Lab / Head of Math
• Works collaboratively with: Mathematics Curriculum Team

Education: Attending Math Undergraduate Program (preferably a Bachelor degree).

Languages: Proficiency in English (mandatory, minimum B2 level).

Experience

• Previous academic or internship experience in curriculum development, teaching support, or educational organization is desirable but not mandatory.

Required technical skills and competences

• Strong mathematical reasoning and attention to detail.
• Ability to solve and verify mathematical activities accurately.
• Math formatting language skills is desirable (e.g. Latex)
• Experience with MS Windows management platforms
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
• Experience with publishing tools (Word, PowerPoint, PDF, etc.).
• Organizational skills for digital file management.
• Ability to work with digital platforms.

Desirable technical skills and competences

• Interest in curriculum design and instructional structuring.
• Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) for research and academic support.
• Experience with educational documentation processes.
• Basic understanding of curriculum frameworks and instructional coherence.
