Responsibilities:
Guide the team in measuring trees in the field according to forest inventory planning, measuring, inspecting and maintaining forest inventory plots, using electronic equipment (data collectors and clinometer), counting seedlings in the 15 and 90 day assessments and sprouting in the 120-day evaluation, aiming to ensure the quality of the information collected to obtain the best possible yield You are on a journey to join an exciting Company and be part of our success story. In this role that you are about to embark on, you are required to carry out the following responsibilities: “1 – Guide the team in the installation, measurement and maintenance of forest inventory plots, ensuring the quality of the information collected. 2 – Carry out the installation, measurement and maintenance of trees in forest inventory plots, collecting quantitative and qualitative information, both from the trees and from the plot, using the clinometer to measure heights and the data collector for 3 – Carry out audits of our own and third-party teams, ensuring quality and compliance with operational standards established by the company. 4 – Report on pest outbreaks and disease outbreaks and forward the information in accordance with pre-established procedures. 5 – Contribute to the measurement planning of inventory strata, informing the average income of the teams and the specificities of the areas. 6 – Carry out daily notes on activities in the field, aiming to correctly allocate the costs and resources used, and complete the activity monitoring report monthly. 7 – Register and notify non-routine events according to procedures and work instructions in order to provide managers with this information for the necessary measures. 8 – Ensure the organization and cleanliness of inventory equipment and vehicles, requesting maintenance or replacement when necessary. 9 – Comply with internal regulations, the requirements of quality management systems and work safety standards inherent to the sector, as well as the use of EPI’s/EPC’s (Individual protective equipment/Collective protective equipment) when 10 – Develop other activities inherent to the position or at the discretion of your immediate superior, as long as you are qualified and are in accordance with your knowledge and experience.” To be successful in this role, it is recommended that you should have the following skills and qualifications: • A basic school certificate. • Relevant working exposure or experience in a similar role. • Willing to relocate to the job location.
