Overview of the role:

As a Senior AI Engineer at Flutter Brazil, you will lead the design, development, and deployment of AI-driven solutions that power intelligent products and enhance decision-making across the organization. You will work at the intersection of machine learning, software engineering, and large-scale systems — helping to transform business challenges into scalable, production-ready AI capabilities.
You will collaborate closely with Data Science, Engineering, Product, and Platform teams to build the next generation of AI applications, including predictive models, LLM-based systems, recommendation engines, real-time decision frameworks, and automation agents. This role is ideal for someone who combines deep ML/AI expertise with strong engineering fundamentals and a passion for experimentation and innovation.

What you’ll do:

• Design, build, and deploy machine learning and AI systems at scale, ensuring high reliability, performance, and maintainability.
• Work with Data Scientists to productionize models, transforming prototypes into robust real-time or batch pipelines.
• Leverage LLMs, multi-agent frameworks (e.g., CrewAI) and modern AI orchestration tools to build intelligent automation and decision systems.
• Develop APIs, microservices, and data pipelines that serve AI models and integrate with core platform components.
• Implement monitoring, observability, and continuous evaluation strategies to ensure models and agents remain accurate and stable in production.
• Optimize models and systems for performance, latency, and cost, including distributed inference strategies.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Analytics, and Platform teams to identify AI opportunities and define technical requirements.
• Contribute to architecture discussions, engineering best practices, and internal frameworks for scalable AI operations.
• Stay up to date with advancements in LLMs, generative AI, agent frameworks, vector databases, and model-serving technologies — bringing innovative solutions to the team.

We require a candidate who has achieved or is capable of the following:

• 5+ years of experience in Machine Learning, AI Engineering, or Applied ML roles, with production experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python and ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX, or similar.
• Deep understanding of ML fundamentals: model development, evaluation, optimization, and deployment.
• Experience with LLMs, embeddings, RAG, multi-agent systems, and orchestration frameworks (CrewAI, MCPs, etc.).
• Experience building and maintaining AI pipelines and agent-based architectures.
• Solid experience with cloud environments (AWS preferred), including services for compute, data, orchestration, and monitoring.
• Familiarity with distributed computing or modern distributed inference frameworks.
• Experience with CI/CD, automation, and modern AI tooling — preferably agent orchestration, model routers, vector stores, and LLM deployment workflows rather than Spark/MLflow-heavy environments.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to operate in a dynamic environment, driving solutions from conception to production with autonomy.
