We are offering a Global Opportunity to work as a Product Engineer at our Randoncorp Hercules facility located in New Jersey.

Responsibilities:

• Develop projects for new products and/or design changes by conducting technical, economic, and market feasibility studies, following the Product Engineering macro-process methodology, ensuring product performance, quality, safety, and reliability, and complying with technical standards and specifications; preparing and/or requesting technical drawings; performing results analyses; and monitoring and implementing schedule phases to meet customer needs and proposed outcomes;
• Identify, propose, and implement improvements and/or innovations for new products within your area of responsibility by reviewing internal controls and procedures, identifying opportunities, and developing and/or monitoring projects and/or action plans to accelerate and improve demand fulfillment, optimize resources, and reduce costs;
• Monitor the product life cycle by tracking conditions of use, technical issues, normal wear, and other relevant factors in order to establish an average expected service life under proper operating conditions;
• Research material/process technologies and new products for the segments in which the company operates, proposing and implementing innovations and/or improvements;
• Support product definition with customers by understanding needs, verifying application, and proposing solutions aligned with the manufacturing process;
• Evaluate and take actions to ensure product performance in the field, proposing technical solutions for correction and improvement when necessary, and ensuring compliance with the developed technical specifications;
• Stay up to date on technical standards and legal requirements by conducting studies and research and reviewing publications, in order to guide and align project execution with current legislation;
• Provide technical leadership to cross-functional teams on product projects by conducting improvement studies aimed at increasing productivity and/or reducing costs, and by leading the implementation of the recommended steps, assessing technical and economic feasibility using company-defined methodologies, to support management decision-making;
• Support supplier evaluations in addressing solutions for developed projects by verifying technical capability and reviewing recommendations for materials, components, operations, and other items, with the goal of meeting the parameters defined in the project;
• Support the development and implementation of strategic and process indicators for your area of responsibility, and ensure the actions needed to meet established targets;
• Maintain contact with interfacing areas, suppliers, service providers, and other stakeholders, aligning work processes, goals, and shared objectives; conducting site visits; building a constructive working relationship; and gathering and/or providing information, answering questions, and resolving issues, among other activities;
• Be responsible for drafting and maintaining intellectual property (patents) for products and processes by preparing the appropriate documentation, with or without third-party support, to protect innovations against competitors;

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Associates degree with applicable experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in ISO standards, ESG practices, and operational excellence methodologies, such as Lean Six Sigma, Black Belt.

• English- Required
• Spanish – Desirable

It is an on-site position at the plant in Hillsborough Township.

Global Opportunity:

• Candidates must be authorized for employment in the United States;
• Randoncorp employees may be eligible with at least one year of active contract at the company;
• This job opportunity offers a direct employment contract with a US-based company;
• The candidate must be available to travel inside US, Brazil and abroad.
• Salary: $96 – $108
