Facebook’s Small Business Group is looking for a Head of Sales in Latin America. The Small Business Group (SBG) contributes directly to Facebook’s mission by connecting every small business in the world with their customers on Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and Messenger, and then helping them grow through solutions like pages, advertising, messaging, commerce and many other tools. We succeed when we help our customers grow their business. As one of two sales channels responsible for Facebook’s multi-billion dollar advertising business, this team helps more than 99% of the 10 million+ advertisers, and 200 million+ businesses on the Facebook platforms. The Head of Sales leads the team responsible for managing and optimizing a portfolio of sales programs that meet the needs of small business advertisers in their region and drive growth across the family of Facebook apps and services (Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp and Messenger). Small Business Sales programs are executed via hundreds of Facebook Marketing Experts at several contact centers. These consultative programs are designed to help small businesses get better results using Facebook’s advertising products.Blending sales management skills with operational rigor, the Head of Sales is responsible for managing a team of high performing Regional Sales Managers, each overseeing a specific sales program. The Head of Sales works with their team to drive improvements in sales program strategy and operational effectiveness for the purpose of hitting aggressive revenue and growth targets. In addition to managing FTEs, this position works hands-on with senior leadership at multiple contact center locations, ensuring quality and performance goals are met, and large-scale programs are successfully executed. The Head of Sales is uniquely positioned to bring market-level insights to global program development, and is frequently called upon to pilot new ideas in service of continuous innovation and improvement focused on the growth and support of Small Businesses throughout Latin America.Success in this position requires an enthusiasm for leadership, coaching and developing talent; the ability to inspire teams to reach aggressive goals; and an aptitude for identifying opportunities and adapting quickly.This position is full-time and located in our Sao Paulo office and will focus on the growth and support of Small Businesses throughout the entire Latin American region.   • Manage a team of 5+ Regional Sales Managers and responsible for hiring, developing, and retaining top talent
  • Lead a billion dollar plus sales program portfolio, developing strategies to drive growth
  • Responsible for revenue attainment and cost management across the sales program portfolio
  • Own the relationship with contact center leadership, driving performance that meets quality and consistency standards
  • Collaborate across the organization to evolve global sales programs, drive innovation, and capture growth opportunities
  • Build strong relationships, internally with cross-functional organizations, and externally with partners
  • Regularly communicate program performance, identify potential risks, and hold team accountable for deliverables
  • 12+ years of work experience in sales, marketing, online advertising, consulting, agency, design or product/program management
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Management experience with demonstrated experience of leading and inspiring others
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional groups to produce meaningful results
  • Experience building proven working relationships internally and externally
  • Critical-thinking and creative problem-solving experience
  • Experience communicating both internally and externally across technical/non-technical and leadership teams
  • Knowledge of the digital advertising ecosystem
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and comfortable with ambiguity
  • Demonstrated experience focusing a team on what matters most
  • Experience working in Sales areas throughout Latin America
